What’s Happening With Me This Week:

I had a pretty busy week this week! On Saturday, Brent and I went to a friend’s house for a little get-together. Then on Sunday, it was Father’s Day, so we had a ton to do! First we went to Brent’s parents’ house and celebrated with his family, and then we went over to my Dad’s house and cooked dinner for him. It was a lot of fun 🙂

On Monday, Brent and I went to the gym and worked out together. I’ve decided that, even though it’s painful, I want to start getting back into going to the gym —but only once a week. Strength training is something that I absolutely love, but had to give up because it’s so hard for me to get through a workout. But after I got stranded in a parking lot a couple weeks ago because I was in so much pain that I couldn’t drive home and Brent had to come pick me up, I’ve decided that it’s really important for me to get my leg muscles a little stronger. I think they’re still recovering from atrophying a lot after my surgeries this past December. I’m going to be going every Monday now to work on strengthening up, and I’m really excited about it 🙂
