Book Haul (#5): BookOutlet.com (5 books!)

BookOutlet.com is my favorite place to buy books from. Well, online, at least. They have such great prices, and they are constantly getting new books. And I usually can find coupon codes to use as well. Normally I end up paying between $3-$5 for each book (and that’s including shipping).

I wasn’t planning on buying any books, but then I saw that they had Shadow and Bone for sale, and I just had to make an order! I read it last month (read my review!) and am so happy that I own it now.

Last time I ordered from BookOutlet.com, I got the book Gone, which I’m really excited to read, so this time I picked up Lies, which is the third novel in the series.

Dairy Queen by Catherine Gilbert Murdock

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m not a huge fan of contemporary, but this book has gotten such high praise from a lot of my favorite bloggers, so it definitely needed to be added to my collection.

If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch

This book has been sort of exploding around the blogosphere lately, so when I saw it online, I had to get it. I can’t wait to read this one!

Juliet Immortal by Stacey Jay

This book doesn’t have the best rating on Goodreads, but a bunch of my favorite reviewers said that they liked it, and I love the idea of a Romeo and Juliet retelling. Also, the cover is gorgeous.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

And, of course, Shadow and Bone! Even though I’m not obsessed with this book, I thought that it was so interesting and unique, and it definitely needs to be owned by me.

  1. I totally agree about If You Find Me. I’ve been seeing that everywhere! I’m not sure whether or not I’ll read Leigh Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone because I’m not a big fan of high fantasy books. I’m also worried that it would be a let down because I am hard to please when it’s a fantasy book.

    • I feel like I’m the same way when it comes to fantasy…don’t like high fantasy and I’m hard to please. But I really enjoyed Shadow and Bone. Well, I liked Shadow and Bone and LOVED Siege and Storm. I would say that you should at least give it a try, though. This series is very unique and totally engrossing.

  2. I can’t believe I haven’t read Shadow and Bone yet! It’s on my shelf next to Siege & Storm, just need to work my way to it. You’re totally right about If You Find Me, I’ve seen it around but haven’t thought about it much. Thanks for your post, I hope you enjoy your reads! Thanks for stopping by my STS, I am a new follower 🙂
